JOUQ this RAY (Jouquin Fox, RAIL G) - Up2Us / To Be Okay

JOUQ this RAY ( Jouquin Fox + RAIL G) aren’t new to making music in a quick turnaround time with quality and honest expression at the forefront- both having written projects in short time periods, not to mention the first JOUQ this RAY album having been recorded in about a week, during the process of The Cookie Store’s PARADE!!! that they both lended verses and ideas for too. This new project, a double EP called “Up2Us” and “To Be Okay,” is no exception, having been thrown into pre production when the duo found out the potential of their performances for Palestine in Wichita, and their show in Chicago respectively, then as they began compiling beats into a folder, conversing and writing. As more things fell into place, recording and engineering began, and now JOUQ this RAY + friends present to you this new double EP, out tomorrow March 29th, 2024, with a new music video directed by Hzfilms out Saturday. The first half of the EP is a bit more dark in undertones + beats, finding JOUQ and RAY down on themselves and luck, grasping at whatever hope is around. The second EP is a bit more bright, with a focus on trying to make that hope for yourself in whatever way possible- affirmations, God, spiritual awakening, friends, booking shows, smoking cannabis, breathing.
