That Which Is Hidden
Where are we from? Why are we here on earth? Where do we go when we die? What’s the difference between spirituality and religion? How strong is the mind to believe making what you believe so through repetitious prayers, meditations, and affirmations? Who gains from our lack of sight, guidance, and consciousness regarding these subjects? That Which Is Hidden is my attempt at addressing these questions. It is a spiritual approach to an album exploring the themes of life, death, mortality, and morality.
This album was entirely produced by The Original Copy using religious and gospel-based samples and materials exclusively. We initially met online buying and selling records. I then learned about his producing and asked him about a few beats he posted. On a trip back home to Los Angeles in late 2018 we connected to dig for records and recorded the song “God In The Physical”. I returned a few months later to finish the album. Most of the music for That Which Is Hidden was created before we met.
The title That Which Is Hidden refers to the powers inherently hidden within all of us. The power elite engineer these powers out historically, systematically, generationally, and religiously to benefit from our lack of clarity, awareness, and understanding of who we are, our power, purpose, and potential. This album is about drawing out of us that life force hidden down deep. This life force allows us to rise above our emotional and animal selves in order to reach enlightenment, traveling from our lower chakra, through our spinal cord, past the 33rd vertebrae illuminating the brain which creates resurrection from a lower vibration state of operation. We are Infinite beings here on earth to experience and explore limitations and finiteness in order to understand infinity. Per lifetime we aspire to develop the ability to control our body and our emotions (animal selves) allowing us to activate our DNA and central nervous system to become masters of ourselves and world. That which is hidden in plain sight takes us multiple lifetimes to identify, recognize, and master.
