Sixteen years since Non Phixion last recorded together comes a new solo album from group founder ILL BILL. Appropriately timed for release on Devil’s Night (a/k/a October 30th) the arrival of ‘La Bella Medusa’ is all the more fitting given the legendary underground hip-hop group’s outspoken missives on police brutality — ILL BILL even reunites with Goretex (Lord Goat) and Sabac Red for the politically charged “Watch the City Burn” (produced by DJ Skizz). Throughout the new album, ILL BILL’s on top of his lyric game, often trading rhymes with all-stars like TECH N9NE, D.V. Alias Khryst, Conway the Machine, Pharoahe Monch, Kool G Rap, Crimeapple, Jay Royale, and more.
