The late multi-faceted artist Kris Kristofferson, who conquered his own demons and maintained his sobriety for decades, was once asked what he’d say to young addicts attempting to kick their addiction. His only advice, a quote from fellow Highwaymen band member Willie Nelson, was the seed from which this album developed: ‘You got to kill your own snakes’.

Fresh off the heels of Sacco & Vanzetti’s 5th album and morbid exploration of grief, Sorry For Your Loss, the duo of rapper Sko and producer Shah return to form with a reaffirmation of the defiant, chippy spirit that serves as the foundation of their catalogue thus far. Life offers no shortages of roundhouses. But there is work to be done, there are snakes to be killed, and Sacco & Vanzetti are getting to it.
