Sleep Sinatra - The Spirit Of Baldwin Ave

“I grew up on the inner north side of Lincoln Nebraska, the University Place area to be specific. In this part of Lincoln exists an odd contrast, where silver spoon fed nepo baby’s attend the east campus of UNL on one side and meth/fent/ you name it addicts sleep amongst the trees in upco park and the young cats with are rockin ski masks and back flag bangin on the other side. Nebraska has been considered a fly over state musically and culturally for as long as I can remember with the exception of a couple small (and disappointing cough* BELLY) Cameos in film/music over the years, Without much being known of the true diversity/poverty/crime/drug issues that exist here just like every other part of the wilderness of North America.

I was passed around from family member to family member until I hit Adolescence and wound up on Baldwin Avenue. Baldwin Ave Made Sleep Sinatra. I loved on that street, lost on that street, won on that street, hustled on that street, worked on that street, fought on that street, went to jail and came home on that street. This album is a dedication to my stomping grounds and a Revelation of the Life and Times of Sleep”
