StLAROK - SHAMAN

SHAMAN is Brooklyn-based artist StLAROK’s self-produced homage to the 90’s era of hardcore Hip Hop. Drawing inspiration from the gritty sounds of Wu-Tang, J Dilla, and Portishead, hard drums and dark sample chops set the tone for sharp, introspective lyrics. With a delivery reminiscent of some of Rap’s most legendary MC’s, intricate wordplay and vivid storytelling create a landscape showcasing StLAROK’s skills with the pen, and on the mic. Make no mistake about it…this is Hip Hop music in its purest, most potent form. SHAMAN takes the listener on a psychedelic trip down memory lane, dropping them off in uncharted territory by the end of the journey.
