Hailing from Washington, D.C., The Committee debuted in 1998 with the CD-only release of “Scholars And Sense” on their own KEMA Records imprint. The crew consisting of BlueBlack, Litl Brian and Souls Of The Decade (Ahlon & Mack) delivered a conscious rap album full of jazz-infected beats with strong lyricism including a guest feature by Grap Luva.
