Tokyo Cigar - 26: The Maryland Era
Tokyo Cigar presents 26: The Maryland Era as a homage to the state where he truly immersed himself into hip-hop’s elements. The vastness of the 19-track album does not signify a moment of ‘filler’– steered by the rapper/multi-instrumentalist lacing audible surprises around every corner.
Known for collaborative works with Hell Razah, Odd Nosdam (Anticon producer), Fatboi Sharif, Blaq Poet, Iceberg Theory, and recently joined Automatic Records for the release of his short film GRIM, and the accompanying soundtrack. He also has an extensive catalog of remixes and instrumental projects, featuring original instrumentation resampled with the sp-404 and sp-202.
