TOKYO CIGAR, AUGUST FANON - Raymond

This album is loosely based on Raymond K.Hessel from Fight Club. That scene in the film always resonated with me and i had the title Raymond stuck in my head as an album name for years. It wasn’t always gonna be a story album but when the idea hit to write it this way everything came together.

The August Fanon beats i picked had a very cinematic sort of feel and i had a bunch of these for a minute. When everything was compiled from all the beat packs. This selection of beats told the story flawlessly with the music.

Shout out to Donnie for the crazy mixes. He really punched up the sound and had everything thumping heavy
